Gadi Leibovich serves as the President & CEO of DSIT.
Prior to joining DSIT Gadi held the position of VP and Director of the Naval Directorate of one of the leading Israeli defense companies. Gadi has over 22 years of experience in Business Administration, International Marketing, Program Management, Engineering and R&D projects.
Gadi holds B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion in Haifa, MA in Law studies from Bar-Ilan University and Executive MBA from Haifa University.
HANAN MAROM, VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING
Hanan Marom serves as the VP of Business Development and Marketing at DSIT.
Hanan has over 20 years of experience in international Business Development, Marketing and sales. Prior to this position, Hanan held the positions of Marketing Manager at Rafael, Head of Rafael’s Liaison office in Australia, Accounting Manager at Thales Australia and as a Senior Business Development and Marketing Director at Elbit Systems.
Hanan holds B.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, MA in Political Science and Executive MBA from the Haifa University.
Hanan is an ex. Israeli Navy Commander and he served, for several years, as an ASW and Missile Boats Commander.
YITSHAK PEERY, VP NAVAL SYSTEMS
Yitshak Peery has served as DSIT’s head of the Naval Systems Division since 1992.
Prior to joining DSIT, he served as a Commander in the Israeli Navy where his responsibilities included project management, systems engineering, training, and technical supervision. Yitshak Peery’s areas of expertise include underwater acoustic systems, training simulators, communications, hardware and software development, signal processing, and system interfacing & integration. Mr. Peery holds a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a M.Sc. in Electrical and Marine Engineering from MIT.
RAN AVGAR, VP OPERATIONS
Ran Avgar serves as DSIT’s Vice President of Operations at DSIT.
Ran Avgar joined the company in 1984. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration.
EYAL OZ, CFO
Eyal joined DSIT in 2018 as the company’s CFO.
Eyal brings with him over 18 years of experience in the financial and management arena across various areas including strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, cost reduction, systems implementation, M&A’s and due diligence.
Among his prior positions, Eyal served as CFO of VisionMap, CFO of MGS Group, Finance Director of the Open University, as well as senior financial positions of large organizations in the fields of hi-tech, retail & wholesale, project management and more. Eyal is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds an Executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University as well as a BB, Bachelor of Business, major in Accounting from Israel’s College of Management.
DORON KARPEL, VP PROJECTS
Doron Karpel joined DSIT in 2015 and serves as the company’s Vice President for RT Programs and Projects Division manager.
Prior to joining DSIT Mr. Karpel held the position of Development Manager at Elbit Systems. Previously, he was Director of Hardware Development, Broadband Access at ECI Telecom. Doron Karpel holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University.
AYALA GERON, INTEGRATED QUALITY MANAGER
Ayala Geron serves as the manager of DSIT’s Quality Management Department.
Mrs. Geron joined DSIT in 1991. Since 2013 she has been responsible for DSIT‘s adherence to quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Prior to that, she was the project manager of the real-time projects delivered to Rafael. Before joining DSIT, Ayala Geron (then Latarre) was a real-time software engineer at the IAF (Israeli Air Force). She holds a B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, and M.Sc. Degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
