DSIT Solutions is excited to announce the successful testing of an advanced situational awareness sonar technology integrated into an unmanned platform.

In November, the German Navy conducted a two-week trial with the IAI ELTA Systems Ltd BlueWhale Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. This innovative sonar technology from DSIT Solutions can detect and identify various underwater and surface contacts, providing safe diving capabilities.

This development paves the way for advanced unmanned missions, including anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and covert intelligence gathering. The tests conducted in a challenging operational area of the Baltic Sea have convinced us of the system’s advanced capabilities and benefits. This success strengthens our commitment to continue developing this technology as part of our software-defined sonar (SDS) solutions and the Underwater Cloud initiative.
