Congratulations to Yitshak Peery who has recently been appointed as DSIT’s CTO.

Yitshak has over 4 decades of experience in underwater acoustic systems, training simulators, communications, hardware, and software development.

For the last 17 years, he has served as VP of the company’s Naval Systems Division and was responsible for the development of the advanced underwater systems that are in operational use by the Israeli Navy and many other navies, HLS forces, and commercial customers around the world.

These ground-breaking systems, whose development Yitshak led, are regularly used for the homeland, strategic facility, and Naval platform defense.

Yitshak’s knowledge and experience boost the company’s underwater capabilities, positioning DSIT as one of the world’s leaders in ASW and the supply of underwater HLS systems.

Prior to his positions at DSIT, he served as a Commander in the Israeli Navy where his responsibilities included underwater project management, systems engineering, training, and technical supervision as well as leading the development, integration, and implementation of many sonar systems on Israel’s submarines and surface platforms.

Yitshak holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Electrical and Ocean Engineering from MIT.
