A Mobile, Underwater Task Force Security System
KnightShield simultaneously protects multiple ships anchored at port as well as port entrances and designated areas of port basins – detecting hostile swimmers and sabotage attempts. Housed in a container, the system is easily transported, as and when required, between platforms and dock locations such as harbors, ports and terminals.
Providing fully automatic detection, tracking, classification, and alerts regarding underwater intrusion and sabotage, the system detects hostile divers – whether using closed or open breathing apparatus – as well as AUVs, SDVs, DPVs and UUVs. Covering short- to medium-ranges in ports and shallow waters with exceptional reliability and precision, KnightShield handles up to 500 contacts simultaneously in all weather and sea conditions. Providing precise to location of threats, the system enables a pinpoint response to even the weakest targets, delivering a very low false alarm rate.
Rapidly, safely and easily deployed and recovered, KnightShield integrates with a wide range of sensors and Command and Control (C2) security systems. The self-contained system requiring no full-time operator, can be used in standalone mode or with existing infrastructure in all types of ports and harbors – protecting critical civilian and naval infrastructure, assets, and vessels.
